Located on the sea surface to the left of Meirendong in Xiao Liuqiu, the cage turtle area is named after the circles of aquaculture cages on the water surface. It is a popular dive site that combines artificial structures and natural ecology. It has not only become the ecological core where many large fish and benthic creatures gather, but also one of the most densely populated dive sites for sea turtles in Xiao Liuqiu. The density of sea turtles is super high: they live around the reefs and between the cage structures. It is common to see multiple turtles in one dive, and sometimes even several in the same scene. You can observe the natural appearance of sea turtles eating, floating, swimming or resting at close range, and the photos and records are perfect. The artificial cage structure forms an ecosystem, attracting benthic creatures, nudibranchs and small fish to inhabit and shuttle through it. The sandy area is commonly used by masters of imitation such as ancient soil rays and flounder, adding more surprises during exploration. It is recommended to conduct boat diving, and the water flow conditions are usually stable. The entry position can be adjusted according to the cage structure route. It is suitable for levels OW and above, and experience diving and free diving can also be arranged.
