Easy access by scooter makes this dive site perfect for a relaxed day of diving. The area offers a high chance of turtle encounters, with turtles frequently spotted both to the left and right of the entry point.
Located on the west side of Dafu Fishing Port on the south side of Xiao Liuqiu. The entry point is in a natural harbor next to an abandoned port. The sea conditions here are stable and the currents are calm almost all year round, making it an ideal choice for all levels of divers, especially beginners. The waters in the harbor are hardly affected by wind, waves or tides, making the diving process comfortable and safe.
The sea turtle emergence rate is super high, and at least 15 resident sea turtles have been recorded, making it one of the best dive sites for observing and swimming with sea turtles. The underwater terrain is mainly composed of sandy areas and coral reefs, with abundant fish, mainly small coral reef fish, making it an excellent underwater photography location. It is most natural to photograph sea turtles interacting with divers in a clear environment.
Suitable for experience diving students, OW students, AOW practice divers, and beginner free divers. Unless there is south wind or typhoon weather, the water surface is like a mirror most of the time with good visibility.
Notice: every year typhone will hit this area during summer times, which destroys the underwater corals, so the corals are not as good as the west side of the island.
