El Veril

This dive site, El Veril, is an accessible dive for all levels, renowned for its stunning volcanic underwater topography. Divers navigate through a maze of beautiful lava formations near La Bombilla at shallow depths, leading to a peculiar volcanic crevice. This crevice is a highlight, teeming with diverse macro life, offering an immersive experience into the island's unique underwater geology.
The rich marine ecosystem here hosts a variety of fascinating creatures. Divers can expect to encounter large giant anemones, Redbacked Cleaner shrimps, and various fish species including bream, barracuda, moray eels, and oceanic Triggerfish. Electric rays and stingrays are also frequent visitors, alongside vibrant sponges, pufferfish, and elusive spider crabs, making it a vibrant site for marine observation.
As a site suitable for all levels, El Veril is ideal for both scuba divers and freedivers looking to explore diverse volcanic landscapes and abundant macro life.
