Tyee Cove offers a rewarding dive experience with two prominent walls. Access to the water involves navigating some medium-sized rocks, though careful footing allows for easy entry. The left wall presents a longer dive, approximately 70 feet deep, and requires a 30-minute swim to reach Gramps, the wolf eel. Alternatively, the right wall offers shorter dives with beautiful shallow shelves—an excellent spot for observing octopus and schools of fish. The beach provides convenient picnic benches for gear preparation, along with washroom facilities and about twelve parking spaces. Divers often explore this site in conjunction with nearby Madrona Cove.
