Palong Bay offers a unique diving experience located north and south of Maya Bay, just off the west coast of Phi Phi Leh. This area is known for its diverse marine life and intriguing underwater formations. To the north, divers may encounter black tip reef sharks in shallower waters, alongside occasional leopard sharks and Khul's stingrays resting on the sand or rubble near the reef edge. Moving south towards Maya Bay, you’ll discover a network of swim-throughs and small tunnels carved into the rock – a highlight for underwater exploration. Palong Bay consistently provides opportunities to spot Hawksbill turtles, frequently seen throughout the reef system. The area is home to a wide variety of marine species often not found at other dive sites nearby, making it ideal for macro photographers seeking unusual subjects. Visibility can vary.
