This dive site offers a unique experience at Hin Klia, a submerged reef located 2 kilometers east of Koh Phi Phi Leh. The area is renowned for its exceptional condition – the corals and marine life are remarkably pristine due to limited diving access from these nearby islands. This gently sloping pinnacle begins at a depth of 6 meters and descends to approximately 17 meters on its western side, with a shallower point of around 13 meters on the east. Divers can expect to encounter an abundance of fascinating creatures including zebra sharks, blue spotted stingrays, and hawksbill turtles. Huge schools of big-eye and two-spot snapper, fusiliers, moorish idols, boxfish, and pufferfish add to the spectacle. Ghost pipefish and various nudibranchs also inhabit this vibrant ecosystem. It’s best explored during slack tide to minimize the effects of currents.
