This dive site, Bida Nog Island, is located in the south of the Phi Phi island group. It’s easily accessible, just 35 minutes from Phi Phi Don. The area offers diving suitable for absolute beginners, with a fringing reef extending down to approximately 25 meters. You might also explore slightly deeper areas, reaching around 34 meters over sand if you venture out. Currents are generally light to moderate, although they can increase during full moon periods; dive operations typically accommodate drifting currents. Expect to see a variety of marine life including large schools of yellow snappers and black-tip reef sharks, along with the occasional hawksbill turtle. Whale sharks and eagle rays have also been spotted on occasion. It’s highly recommended to visit Bida Nog Island more than once to fully appreciate its beauty and diverse underwater environment.
