This dive site, Praia da Baleeira, is conveniently located right by the harbour of Sagres in Portugal. Its sheltered position, protected from swells and winds, makes it an exceptionally safe and accessible spot, particularly suited for try-dives, beginner courses, and skill practice. The underwater landscape consists of a reef that reaches a maximum depth of 7 meters, alongside large, expansive sandy areas perfect for buoyancy training and perfecting scuba skills. The marine life at Praia da Baleeira, while not featuring large pelagics, is rich in smaller, fascinating creatures.
