This dive site offers an exceptional experience at Lundy Island, a statutory marine nature reserve located at the mouth of the Bristol Channel. The island’s unique location creates a fascinating mix of waters – cool, clear oceanic currents from the Gulf Stream combine with warmer Mediterranean influences. The journey to Lundy takes approximately one hour and provides opportunities for wildlife sightings such as dolphins, porpoises, and seals. Around 40 diverse dive sites await exploration, including wrecks, reefs, drop-offs, and pinnacles. Divers can also enjoy close encounters with the island’s friendly and interactive seal population. The visibility in these waters is excellent due to the clean currents.
