This dive site is located on the Hondarribia coast of Guipúzcoa, past the Pasajes estuary and formed by the Jaizkibel mountain range. It’s known as Cabo de Higuer and Playa de los Frailes, representing one of the most protected areas around the contour. This area offers diving suitable for beginners, courses, baptisms, and nighttime dives due to its depth ranging from 5 to 16 meters. The underwater landscape includes fascinating marine life, such as octopuses, sea scorpions, holothurians, sea urchins, starfish, and torpedoes resting under slabs within the sand. It’s considered one of the 50 best dives in the country.
