This dive site is renowned as Batu Bolong, a spectacular rock pinnacle located in the Lintah Strait of Komodo. Rated among the world’s best by CNN at number 27, it offers a truly unique diving experience. The site rests at a depth of 75 meters and is characterized by strong currents creating dramatic surges along its sides. This results in two distinct dive areas: a gentle slope on the south side and steeper, more varied topography on the north side. Batu Bolong teems with life – healthy coral formations, large pelagic creatures often passing through, sharks, turtles, and an abundance of colorful reef fish. Macro life is also plentiful here. Divers should be aware that the strong currents necessitate limiting dives to the sheltered lee side of the rock formation. The site's diverse topography and abundant marine life make it a rewarding destination for experienced divers.
