This dive site is located on a solitary, rocky island situated in a channel connecting Busuanga and Coron Island, close to the Siete Picados Marine Park. The location within this channel means that tidal currents can be strong. Visibility at Alcatraz tends to vary but often presents opportunities to witness large schools of fish moving along in impressive numbers. It’s also known as a good spot for observing smaller marine life, such as nudibranchs. The island's rugged nature and current conditions make it a worthwhile destination for experienced divers.
