Alex Cave in Comino offers a captivating underwater experience, particularly suitable for those with some cave diving experience. Located near Crystal Lagoon, this site begins its descent along a reef wall, leading to the entrance of Alex Cave. The cave itself is a remarkable 40-meter long L-shaped passage adorned with unique features like octopus and the elusive Pearly Razor Fish found on sandy areas. Exploring the boulders at the cave's entry provides opportunities to encounter Moray eels and Conga eels. A steep drop-off and an arch located outside the cave are also worth investigating. A torch is highly recommended for navigating the cave system. The average depth reaches 8 meters, with a maximum of 16 meters.
