The Maldives generally offers excellent diving year-round, with the best time to visit often dependent on specific currents and animal migrations. Due to its outer atoll location and proximity to 'Express' sites, divers should be prepared for variable currents, which often attract the larger pelagic species. This site is also suitable for freedivers who can explore the shallower reef top and observe the rich marine life.
