This dive site, known as Tribe Gate/Oval reef, is a unique area comprising several small reefs clustered around a larger, oval-shaped main reef. The shallowest point reaches approximately 3 meters (10 feet), while the deepest part descends to 15 meters (50 feet). The reef attracts diverse marine life; juvenile pickhandle barracudas, two-spot snappers, and fusiliers are commonly observed. In the shallower areas, you’ll hear the distinctive crunching sounds of humphead parrotfish as they feed on coral. A variety of invertebrates also inhabit these reefs, including octopuses, colourful nudibranchs, and numerous species of anemonefish.
