About this dive site

This dive site, Santa Giulia, is a beautiful bay in Corsica, renowned for its turquoise waters, fine sand, and polished rock formations. While largely a sunbathing spot, it offers a pleasant experience for underwater exploration focused on its small rocky reef situated in the center of the bay. Navigation is straightforward, staying around the easily accessible reef.

The rocky reef likely hosts typical Mediterranean shallow-water species such as small wrasses, damselfish, gobies, sea bream, and possibly some small crustaceans like shrimp or crabs hiding in crevices. Colorful sponges and anemones may also be present on the rocks, adding to the visual appeal of this calm, sheltered environment.

The best time to visit Santa Giulia is during the warmer months, typically from late spring to early autumn, when water temperatures are comfortable and visibility is at its peak. This site is ideal for beginner divers and freedivers due to its shallow depth, calm conditions, and warm water, making it perfect for training, practice, or simply a relaxing swim and snorkel.
