About this dive site

This dive site, located north of Marsa Alam and bordering the Royal Tulip and Magic Tulip Resorts, offers an accessible and vibrant coral reef experience. A long pontoon, stretching about 700m, provides direct and easy access to the reef's drop-off. The topography transitions from a shallow flat at 2 meters to a maximum depth of 10 meters on the wall, creating a diverse environment for exploration.

The reef is teeming with life, featuring extensive coral formations and giant clams. Divers and snorkelers can easily spot colorful inhabitants such as clownfish, butterflyfish, and tangs. Lucky visitors may also encounter larger marine life, including majestic sea turtles, various reef sharks, and, on rare occasions, spinner dolphins.

The site is suitable for diving and snorkeling year-round, with consistently good conditions in the Red Sea. It is particularly excellent for beginners, snorkelers, and freedivers due to its shallow depths and protected nature. Photographers will appreciate both the macro opportunities within the corals and the chance for wide-angle shots of the vibrant reef and larger animals.
