This dive site, Sodfa, is located in Egypt and offers an easy and enjoyable experience suitable for all levels of divers and snorkelers. The site features a gentle sandy plateau that leads to a vibrant drop-off. Along the drop-off, divers will discover numerous shelters teeming with marine life, as well as a captivating topography of coral blocks and pinnacles waiting to be explored.

The rich ecosystem of Sodfa is home to a diverse array of marine species. You can encounter impressive porites corals often hosting tridacna clams. Schools of glassfish can be found, while gorgonian corals frequently shelter longnose hawkfishes. The sandy areas and reef often reveal many rays. Fire coral adds texture to the reef, and smaller pinnacles provide hideouts for shrimp and various moray eels.

Sodfa is an excellent dive site to visit generally year-round due to the stable conditions of the Red Sea. Its shallow sandy plateau makes it ideal for snorkelers and beginner divers to comfortably explore, while the drop-off provides enough interest for more experienced divers.
