This dive site, known as Elmo’s Wall, offers a unique and memorable underwater experience. Named after the divemaster who always carried an Elmo toy, it’s located on a protected area that provides calm conditions, particularly helpful on windy days. The site features a distinctive ridge running east to west, creating dramatic drops on both sides – a narrow inner slope leading to a sandy bottom at approximately 70 feet, and a steeper descent into the deep ocean on the outer side. Divers can begin their exploration by entering a swim-through directly below the boat; this underwater corridor has straight walls and a flat ceiling. However, caution is advised when exploring the sandy bottom as it can lead to deeper depths than intended. This site provides an engaging dive with a striking landscape and a rewarding sense of discovery.
