This dive site offers a vibrant underwater experience centered around a flourishing coral ecosystem. The area begins with superb coral gardens, characterized by stands of staghorn coral intertwined with terraces of table corals, boulder coral heads and plates, all interspersed with swaying soft corals. A gentle slope descends 10 to 20 meters from this plateau, richly covered in more coral formations and giant clams. Deeper explorations reveal fan corals and dense thickets of staghorn coral on the sandy bottom. Divers can expect encounters with a diverse array of marine life including clownfish, batfish, trout, cod, fusiliers, butterflyfish, angelfish, basslets, and even whitetip reef sharks. Lucky visitors might spot grey reef sharks, octopus, moray eels, barracuda, lionfish, and nudibranchs. Due to the delicate nature of these coral gardens, divers are advised to practice no-touch diving. The site is a popular destination for underwater photographers and enthusiasts seeking colorful reefs and abundant marine life.
