This dive site, known as Egg Rock, is a renowned advanced diving location situated amidst three small islands. The largest of these islands, Egg, lies westward and serves as the primary feature of this area. The site offers multiple dive options due to its considerable size. A prominent plateau descends from the western side of Egg Rock at approximately 10 meters, plunging into depths exceeding 22 meters. The shelf surrounding this plateau is characterized by abundant soft coral and a rich diversity of marine life, largely attributable to its remote location within a marine national park zone. Accessing Egg Rock requires favorable weather conditions and suitable ocean currents – it’s located some distance from Great Keppel Island.
