Inga's is Ha'apai diving at its most relaxed: a leisurely cruise around a field of large coral bommies rising from a sandy bottom, each one its own small ecosystem. The bommies attract nudibranchs, pipefish, big congregations of goatfish and visiting eagle rays, on top of the usual cast of tropical reef fish you'd expect from a healthy Pacific reef.
The sand between the bommies is a highlight of its own — colonies of garden eels numbering in the thousands sway along the bottom, retracting in waves as you glide over.
Shallow swim-throughs and an impressive series of caverns break up the circuit, and they're worth poking through slowly: bull rays and lionfish are regulars in the shaded passages. With a gentle profile (around 12 m average, 18 m maximum) it's an easy, unhurried boat dive that works for every certification level and gives photographers plenty of bottom time.
