This dive site, located at Koh Nang Yuan, is nestled in a picturesque bay known as the Japanese Garden. It features three lush islands linked by fine strips of white sand, creating a unique setting. Underwater, divers explore crystal-clear, shallow waters amongst polished granite rocks, making navigation straightforward due to the calm conditions and good visibility.
Marine life at this site includes vibrant clownfish residing in their sea anemones, colorful butterflyfish, various clams, and active shoals of parrotfish. Despite the beauty of the surrounding area, it is important to note that the coral bed in the diving area is unfortunately badly damaged.
This site is exceptionally well-suited for beginner divers and snorkelers due to its mild conditions and shallow depths. The best time to visit aligns with the dry season, offering excellent visibility. Freedivers will also find the calm, clear, and shallow waters very appropriate for breath-hold diving.
