This dive site offers a fascinating underwater experience. It starts relatively shallow, featuring small bommies, fields of soft coral, sea pens, and anemones. Divers can explore areas with sunken pots and smashed plate shards – remnants from passing merchant ships, hinting at a rich maritime history and potential treasures to discover. Heading north, the terrain transitions into a vibrant soft coral reef characterized by overhangs and mini walls. These structures frequently provide shelter for turtles seeking refuge from currents. The area is teeming with diverse marine life, including frogfish (particularly pink ones!), nudibranchs, flatworms, moray eels, small stingrays, and an impressive variety of juvenile wrasses alongside large yellow-margin triggerfish.
