This dive site, known as Illeta Nord or 'North Islet', is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes by boat from local dive centers. The small island is a legally protected area, serving as a vital breeding ground for seagulls. Underwater, divers will find an old anchor resting in the sand, providing an interesting historical feature and a point of interest for navigation as you explore the areas surrounding the islet and its sandy perimeters.
The marine life at Illeta Nord is diverse and engaging. Divers can frequently spot octopus, moray eels, and a variety of nudibranchs, making it an excellent spot for macro enthusiasts. The site is teeming with numerous small fish, and occasionally, barracudas can be observed.
