This dive site is located in La Restinga, featuring a volcanic formation that did not reach the surface. It's known as El Bajón and offers a unique diving experience. The upper portion of the site is only about 15 meters below the surface, providing an initial lap for divers. If currents permit, further exploration can be undertaken within the crater itself. The surrounding areas reveal depths of 65 and 92 meters, requiring strong buoyancy control and competent current diving skills. This underwater environment is teeming with marine life, including blue roosters, oceanic roosters, amberjacks, moray eels, bicudas, abbots, and occasionally pelagic species like the manta diablo, dolphins, and pilot whales. Due to the consistent currents at this location, it’s considered a challenging but rewarding dive. It is widely regarded as La Restinga's premier diving destination.
