This dive site, Kamieniołom Czarnogłowy, is an old limestone quarry located in Poland. Divers begin their exploration from a convenient beach access point. Underwater, the site reveals a beautiful wall, a unique sunken forest, and numerous nooks and crannies waiting to be discovered, offering varied topography for exploration.
The quarry is well-maintained by a fishing wheel, which contributes to a rich aquatic ecosystem. Divers can encounter remarkably large specimens of pike, perch, and eel, alongside roach and crayfish. The sunken forest also provides a habitat for various aquatic plants.
Kamieniołom Czarnogłowy offers excellent surface infrastructure, including covered tables, a fireplace area, and good access, making it comfortable for a day trip. While no specific 'best time' is mentioned, the calm quarry environment is suitable for diving year-round, especially for beginners and freedivers due to its shallow depths and interesting features.
