About this dive site

This dive site features Sinbad's Armada, a historical wreck located at the tip of Nordre Brygge, resting between 12 and 18 meters deep. The wreck is upright on its keel with its bow facing out towards the fjord, providing a scenic underwater landmark. While the wreck is showing signs of age, its preserved posture makes it an interesting navigational point and a focal attraction for divers exploring the Oslofjord.

Marine life at Sinbad includes often dense schools of small barracudas that can be found swimming over or resting on the bottom around the wreck. Divers with a keen eye may also spot decorative crabs inhabiting the wreck structure, adding a touch of macro life to the experience.

As a busy and popular location, Sinbad is suitable for divers of various skill levels. Looking closely for the elusive decorative crabs is highly recommended. The site is also well-suited for freedivers and snorkelers, given its accessible depth profile and the visual appeal of the upright wreck and fish schools from above.
