This dive site, known as Xlend, offers a fascinating experience for experienced divers. Located off the coast of southeastern Gozo near Xatt l-Ahmar, it features the wreck of MV Xlendi, a former Gozo Channel Line cargo ferry scuttled in 1999 to create an artificial reef. The wreck lies on a sandy slope, with the shallowest point at approximately 32 meters on the shore side and 44 meters on the sea side. The vessel is around 80 meters long. While penetration is not recommended due to its unstable condition, the site provides excellent opportunities for exploration and offers abundant fish life. A car wreck can also be found nearby on the shore side. The average depth is 30 meters, with a maximum depth of 45 meters.
