This dive site, known as Nasturtium, is a fascinating wreck dive located in Malta. The site features the HMS Nasturtium, a British sloop-of-war from World War I. Built in 1915 and used for minesweeping, the ship tragically sank outside Grand Harbour on April 27th, 1916, after hitting a mine. The wreck rests at a maximum depth of 68 meters and is approximately 81 meters long. As of May 1st, 2019, the wreck is protected by Heritage Malta, necessitating a special permit for diving. Access to the site is only via boat. This dive offers a glimpse into naval history and presents challenges suitable for experienced divers.
