This dive site features two historic shipwrecks located in a channel. The deeper wreck, Gaaffaru, sits between 20 and 30 meters and was originally a refrigerated fishing boat that caught fire before being deliberately sunk in deeper waters. SkipJack 2, located closer to the surface at approximately 25 meters, is another fishing vessel that experienced difficulties en route from Colombo to the Maldives and sank just before reaching land. You can often find a resident green turtle inhabiting this site alongside a diverse array of tropical fish. Notably, the bow and engine block of SkipJack 2 rest on the sandy seabed nearby.
