Lhohi Thila

This dive site, Lhohi Thila, is located on the western side of Fihalhohi, facing the open ocean. The reef begins at a gentle depth of 5 to 12 meters and can be quite interesting as Nurse Sharks occasionally hide amongst the coral blocks. Further down, from 15 to 20 meters, you'll discover overhangs and small caves, creating a dynamic underwater environment. Around the Thila’s sandy bottom, keep an eye out for Whitetip Reef Sharks or stingrays resting peacefully. Because of its location on the ocean side, there is also a chance to observe other types of rays and sharks. The area is known for abundant marine life, including big schools of Fusiliers and Trevallies. These vibrant fish are often found amongst the reef.
