About this dive site

This dive site, EAPC Beach, is located near an industrial pipeline but is surprisingly one of Israel's underwater gems. Divers can explore many submerged pillars that serve as artificial reefs, creating a unique navigational challenge and habitat. While not offering the best scenery from the beach itself, the underwater landscape is rich and inviting, especially around the numerous support structures.

The translucent waters of EAPC Beach are frequently visited by inquisitive bottlenose dolphins, offering a chance for memorable encounters with large marine life. The vibrant sea life supported by the submerged pillars includes numerous fish species, various invertebrates, and possibly some coral growth, thriving in this unique man-made ecosystem.

The best time to visit this site would generally be during calm weather for optimal visibility and easier access. Its relatively shallow depth (average 10m, max 20m) makes it ideal for divers of all levels, including beginners. Freedivers will also find the depths and marine encounters, particularly with dolphins, highly rewarding.
