This dive site, known as Nudi Retreat, is located in a heavily-dived area of the strait. The shallow reef begins as a lovely coral bowl and gradually descends into a sandy slope featuring encrusted boulders. Two mini walls extend outward from this slope, supporting healthy soft coral growth up to approximately 2 meters deep. The site offers a variety of underwater scenery and is particularly renowned for its abundant nudibranchs – hence the name Nudi Retreat. The prime attractions include pygmy seahorses and sea moths. Conditions are best when visibility is good and a moderate current encourages the opening and display of the soft corals. This makes it an excellent choice for wide-angle photography.
