This dive site, Gerombong, is renowned for its exceptional macro life, featuring a remarkable variety of nudibranchs and other small marine creatures. Located in northern Tulamben, it offers diverse underwater terrain including sandy slopes, reef walls, and small caverns.
Due to its popularity, Gerombong can experience crowding, particularly during peak seasons from February through September. The presence of many divers, including those still developing buoyancy skills, may affect visibility when sediment is disturbed. For optimal conditions, visiting outside these busier periods may be preferable.
Despite these considerations, the site remains a compelling destination for those interested in macro marine life, with its rich biodiversity and interesting underwater features.
