This dive site, known as La Piscine, lives up to its name with exceptionally clear, turquoise waters reminiscent of a natural pool. It features a beautiful, shallow sandy area, making it an ideal spot for new divers to learn and practice. The site is uniquely structured with three distinct courses originating from the same point, offering varied exploration opportunities from a single entry.
La Piscine is renowned for its vibrant marine life, including a small hawksbill turtle that has made this site its permanent home since 2018. Divers can also look forward to spotting a rare yellow seahorse. For those looking beyond the reef, the clear blue waters frequently reveal larger pelagic species such as thazards and barracudas.
The excellent visibility and calm conditions make La Piscine enjoyable year-round, though the dry season (December to May) often offers the most consistently pleasant weather. This site is perfect for both scuba divers, especially beginners, and freedivers due to its shallow depths and abundant marine life. Snorkelers will also find it very rewarding. Keep an eye out for the resident turtle and seahorse, and don't forget to scan the blue for passing pelagics.
