This dive site is a fascinating wreck – the Fokker Fairchild 27, an aircraft that once served as an island hopper between the ABC Islands. It was donated to All West Apartments 7 Diving and Go West Diving in 2006 and now serves as a unique attraction on Curacao’s west end. The plane rests on a sandy seabed, surrounded by vibrant hard coral formations. Divers frequently encounter turtles, ocean triggerfish, lobsters, porcupinefish, nurse sharks, and green moray eels. A large school of ‘bogas’ (likely referring to small reef fish) is also regularly observed in the area. This offers a diverse underwater experience for certified divers.
