This dive site is a unique, small, saltwater lake connected to the sea through underground channels. It is famous for its stratified water column, featuring a visually stunning chemocline (a misty layer) around 10-15 meters that separates the oxygen-rich surface water from the anoxic, hydrogen sulfide-rich bottom layer.
