This dive site features the Calderinha Wreck, a 100-year-old vessel now largely broken into pieces, with only its boiler remaining intact. Located at an average depth of 7 meters and a maximum of 14 meters, it lies very close to shore, spread across an extensive area. Navigation is straightforward, exploring the scattered remnants of this historical wreck.
The wreck acts as a vibrant artificial reef, attracting diverse marine life. It is notably a beloved resting and chilling spot for green turtles. Divers can also frequently encounter nurse sharks seeking shelter within the wreck's various parts, alongside an abundance of other fish species and intriguing moray eels.
