This dive site, Mi Dushi (My Sweetheart), is a beautiful wall located off the shores of Klein Bonaire. Starting with a flat, shallow area, it gradually drops into a vibrant coral wall that extends to depths beyond typical recreational limits. While the wall itself reaches 38 meters, the primary diving area and maximum recreational depth are noted at 20 meters, making it accessible to a wide range of divers. Navigation is generally straightforward, following the impressive wall.
Divers and snorkelers at Mi Dushi can expect to encounter a rich variety of Caribbean marine life. Common sightings include nurse sharks and reef sharks, with possibilities of spotting majestic eagle rays and bottom-dwelling stingrays. The reef teems with colorful fish such as snapper, angelfish, grunts, and parrotfish, swimming among diverse hard and soft corals.
Mi Dushi is excellent year-round, benefiting from Bonaire's consistent warm waters and generally good conditions. Its flat, shallow start makes it perfect for snorkelers, while the deeper wall offers exciting exploration for divers of all levels. For freedivers, the site provides a fantastic range of depths from shallow reef tops to the impressive wall. Always monitor currents, though they are typically mild in Bonaire.
