Moore Reef

This dive site offers a unique experience exploring the vibrant underwater world of Moore Reef. Divers access the reef through Reef Magic Cruises Marine World platform located off the coast of Cairns, Queensland. Guests have ample time to enjoy the platform – typically five hours – engaging in activities like snorkeling, relaxing on sun-lounges, or participating in diving excursions. A substantial number of dives can be undertaken throughout a single day, utilizing a dive tender to transport certified divers to various locations within Moore Reef. These areas include drift dives, wall dives, channel dives, swim-throughs, small caves, ledges, and drop-offs – sites exclusively accessible by divers affiliated with Reef Magic Cruises. Introductory divers are also welcome and can participate in guided dives in a controlled environment near the Marine World platform. The dive tender system allows access to diverse habitats within the reef ecosystem.
