Located in the middle of Mele Bay, this extensive reef system is a popular and rewarding dive site suitable for all levels. The reef rises to within 6 meters of the surface, featuring vertical walls and a shallow reef top perfect for finishing a dive or for snorkelers. The area is known for its healthy, postcard-perfect coral and masses of interesting marine life, including vibrant tropical fish, sea cucumbers, and starfish. Mele Reef is so extensive and full of life that it warrants more than one visit to explore its different sections.
