This dive site, Secret Harbor - South, is a vibrant reef situated at the southwest corner of Secret Harbor. Divers can easily access it via a surface swim from the Secret Harbor beach or by boat. The site offers straightforward navigation, typically following the reef structure, and at its farthest point, divers can transition to the adjacent 5 Fingers Reef for an extended experience.
Secret Harbor - South is teeming with marine life, including frequent sightings of various rays, lobsters, and sea turtles. The reef supports a normal assortment of shallow reef fish, and numerous cleaning stations provide excellent opportunities to observe smaller creatures and their symbiotic relationships. The healthy coral formations here contribute to a dynamic and thriving ecosystem.
This site is ideal for beginners and divers of all levels due to its shallow depth and generally calm conditions. It's an excellent spot for macro photography around the cleaning stations and for wide-angle shots of the larger marine animals. Snorkelers and freedivers will also find it very rewarding. There is no specific best time to visit mentioned, but tropical reef diving is generally good year-round.
