This dive site, located near Logansport, Indiana, is a unique quarry lake covering approximately seven acres. It began as a limestone quarry in the late 1800s and gradually filled with water. The shoreline features impressive step cliffs on three sides and a sandy slope on the fourth. The area is rich in man-made artifacts including a plane, a 1940s school bus, an old pick-up truck, a culvert, communication equipment, two boats, a snowmobile, and several training platforms. Remnants from quarry operations are also present. Divers are particularly drawn to this location for the opportunity to encounter paddlefish – elongated fish with paddle-shaped snouts that can grow up to six feet in length and weigh around 200 pounds. The water visibility typically ranges from 16 to 20 feet (5 to 6 meters), with water temperatures reaching up to 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
