This dive site is the underwater Museum Lanzarote, a unique cultural and environmental attraction located in the Bay of Las Coloradas off the south coast of Lanzarote. Created by Jason deCaires Tayor, this museum project consists of a vast artificial reef constructed from pH-neutral cement sculptures. These sculptures are designed to stimulate marine life and aid in species reproduction on the island. The site is situated approximately 12 meters below sea level, in clear waters, and covers an area of 2,500 square meters, offering accessible diving for enthusiasts. It’s a fascinating destination that combines art, conservation, and underwater exploration, promoting education about marine environments and human values.
