This dive site, incorrectly named "The Four Caves" – it actually contains five – is located just east of the entrance to Fornells Bay. Divers anchor near an outcrop of land scarred by a lightning-induced rockfall from years past, giving rise to its original name. The initial exploration begins on a ledge below, leading into the first cave, which opens onto a large chamber illuminated by light streaming through surface openings. This cave connects to another and continues along the shoreline to the right, revealing a series of caverns – some expansive, others smaller – each presenting unique features. The seabed is characterized by substantial rocky formations, offering opportunities to navigate beneath them before emerging through natural holes. A noteworthy feature at approximately 17 meters is a majestic archway that provides direct access to a corridor. Due to the extensive exploration and varied terrain, two dives are typically recommended for a full experience of this area.
