This dive site features two pinnacles or rock formations located northwest of the island of Mouro. These formations, known as 'the needles,' present a unique diving experience where divers can circle around them, observing their projection towards the surface, with the upper portion only 7 meters from the water's edge. The typical dive route involves being towed over the pinnacles and then sailing south to "la Cala," the anchoring point for the boat. Be aware of potential currents against the rocks; a compass is recommended for navigation. While marine life is relatively sparse around this site, it offers interesting rock formations. Returning towards Mouro Island often yields sightings of large schools of chicharrillos or sardines, accompanied by lurking sea bass and seabream that actively pursue these fish gatherings. Nudibranchs, occasional spider crabs, and octopus may also be encountered during the dive.
