This dive site, located in the Tobago Cays of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, consists of a group of five picturesque islets sheltered by a magnificent horseshoe-shaped coral reef. Known for its calm, crystal-clear waters and white sand beaches, it serves as a premier destination for snorkelers and shallow divers. Underwater navigation is straightforward due to the excellent visibility and shallow depths, allowing visitors to easily explore the vibrant reef systems and sandy bottoms.
The marine life here is abundant and diverse, most notably the numerous green sea turtles that frequently gather close to the water's surface, offering incredible close-up encounters. The healthy coral reef supports a variety of Caribbean reef fish, including parrotfish, angelfish, damselfish, and schools of snapper, along with various invertebrate species hidden among the corals.
The Tobago Cays are enjoyable year-round, with consistently warm water temperatures and excellent visibility. For divers, the shallow depths offer extended bottom times and relaxed exploration, while freedivers will find the abundant turtles and clear conditions ideal for breath-hold diving. It is a fantastic location for underwater photography, especially for wide-angle shots of turtles and vibrant reef scenes.
