This dive site, known as Deep Boulders, commences from a mooring situated at the end of a shallower area. Divers descend a steep slope to encounter impressive, massive boulders residing at approximately 20 meters. The dive can extend deeper to explore under a ledge at around 27 meters (though the site's stated maximum depth is 23 meters), where nurse sharks are often found, before culminating around a point into Moonhole.
The site boasts diverse marine life, including elusive scorpionfish hidden in crevices, barracuda often seen patrolling the deeper boulder formations, and abundant schools of grunts and creole wrasse.
While no specific best time is mentioned, the consistent Caribbean climate generally ensures good diving conditions year-round. This site is ideal for divers comfortable with moderate depths and exploring intricate topography. Freedivers can also enjoy the upper and mid-sections of the boulders, appreciating the vibrant fish life.
