This dive site features a fascinating shipwreck – the remains of a freighter deliberately sunk in 1993 on a ledge, now resting approximately 73 feet below the surface. Along the reef structures near the wreck, you’ll discover a former fiber optic cable, no longer in use. The area is teeming with marine life, including schools of French Grunts and Bluestriped Grunts, Yellow Goatfish, Lionfish, Parrotfish, and various other tropical fish from the Western Atlantic. You might also encounter Spotted and Green Moray Eels, Green and Hawksbill Turtles, Spotted Eagle Rays, and Caribbean Reef Sharks – a truly spectacular array of creatures. It’s a unique dive offering a combination of history, underwater structures, and abundant marine life.
